At Bongard Landscaping we have over 18 varieties of exotic Crotons including, Fire, Mammey, Corkscrew, King of Siam, Magnificent , Icetone, Petra, Norma, AFD 5-7, Franklin Roosevelt and Congo, just to mention a few.
Crotons are popular for their brightly colored foliage all year long. Most grow well in fairly high light, but many new varieties will handle low light. Make sure you use crotons for that “pop of color” that says Florida.
Crotons are versatile plants which can be kept trimmed at a low height 2-3 feet or left to grow 4-5 feet. They do well in containers on patio or for color in the garden or a low privacy hedge anywhere.
We also have some new varieties growing in the mist house and should be ready in a few months. These include: Golden bell and Nervia. Zanaibar, which is a new dwarf variety.
